A parliamentarian comes a calling

Sixth Form students had the pleasure of hosting MP for West Derby, Ian Bryrne. Ian talked students through his career to date and highlighted a number of his proudest achievements on both a local and national scale. Undoubtedly the biggest of these was the recent submission of the unamended Hillsborough Bill to parliament.

Ian was open in sharing his views and was very honest and forthright when answering the challenging questions posed by students.  It was a hugely enjoyable and informative day for all involved and we thank Ian and his team for giving up their time so generously to inspire our students.
