Civic Mass – An Outpouring of Civic Pride

Sunday 2 March 2025

The college was delighted to have been invited to attend the Annual Civic Mass at the Cathedral on Sunday 2nd of March 2025. In his homily, the archbishop spoke about, “living the good news. It is very important in life. Life can sometimes be like learning to drive not only do we need to understand the theory behind driving, but we also need to be able to drive. We must understand what a Christian must do in life. Just knowing about the good news is a start but we must also be doing the good news in daily life.” At the conclusion of mass, the students had the opportunity to meet and chat with the archbishop who thanked them very much for attending and said that the college is always represented at this important civic event. The college was represented by Mia, Summer and Tom supported by Mr Hicks.
