Out and About in Wales
“Geography is the subject which holds the key to our future.” Michael Palin
Our Year 10 GCSE geographers descended upon Alyn Water Country Park in Wales Monday 26th and Wednesday 28th June for their GCSE river fieldwork.
The day involved measuring river levels and gaining valuable experience to support them with their studies.
Headteacher Paul Stirling said “The trip was a fantastic success and our young geographers thoroughly enjoyed going out into the field to expand their studies. Fieldwork is such an important aspect of the course as it helps them to fully engage with what they’re learning in the classroom and develop vital skills outside of the classroom environment.”
