Dragons Den Maths Competition

Some very happy and successful Dragons!

“When I am determined to do something, I usually do it”. Duncan Bannatyne

38 Liverpool schools recently took part in a Dragon’s Den competition where they had to design a Board Game or a Games App for Maths. Six year 8 students, along with Miss Jones, gave up many hours to invent and make a board game, called Algebrainics.

Their hard work was rewarded when they won through to the final, which took place on the 26th June. During the final they then had to present their idea to the 6 Dragon’s (judges) and the remaining schools, persuading them that their game was the best. Well done to the team, who came runners up in the secondary schools and won 250.
