College has Right Royal Knees-Up

Students from Archbishop Beck Catholic College, Liverpool got into the party spirit with activities to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Students were treated to a special dinner and enjoyed a Jubilee-themed day before breaking up for the half-term holidays. Catering staff of the College pulled out all stops to make the Dinner a very special one, Coronation chicken, Jubilee cakes, and a special Liverpool scouse dish was served to staff and students. The Dinner commenced with the playing of the National Anthem. Head of Kitchen Services Hilda Rimmer said “it has been a lot of preparation but the students have responded magnificently to the day”.
