Learning Support Day
Learning Support Day Trip to Llandudno
We had a really fabulous day at Llandudno with fifteen Year 7 and two Year 9 students rewarding their work and effort throughout the year. The day was spent enjoying the penny arcades, icecream, fighting off seagulls, picnics on Happy Valley and a visit to Bodafon Farm Park. Here the children took a tractor ride and met llamas and deer, pot bellied pigs and goats.
They also enjoyed seeing the owls in the owl sanctuary there and loved getting to stroke them as the keepers gave them fascinating information. None was more delighted than year 9 student Mason Beresford who has an exceptional interest in owls and was totally delighted to get up close to several species.
The keepers told him that when he is a little older he may be able to do some voluntary work there in his holidays. A fun filled, fabulous day full of good old fashioned sea side fun!
