Brian Harding

Year 13 Students met former jockey Brian Harding on Wednesday 11th December. Brian had a fantastic career and enjoyed victories at the Cheltenham Queen Mother Chase in 1998, the Irish Grand National in 2004 and finished in 3rd place at the world famous Aintree Grand National 2005. The students and staff enjoyed questioning him on his career and were fortunate to be given a behind the scenes tour of the fantastic racecourse. A kind and humble man, Brian enjoyed sharing his knowledge of racing and took great interest in our students and their sporting ambitions.
