Farewell, Mrs. Radford

The college was delighted to be invited to the retirement mass for Mrs. Anne Radford, Executive Headteacher of Holy Name Catholic Primary School and Our Lady and St Philomena’s Catholic Primary School.

It was a beautiful Mass, where the the spirit, commitment and ethos of Mrs. Radford was celebrated.

To Mrs. Radford‘s complete surprise she was presented with the highest lay persons award, given by the Vatican, in Rome. This was awarded for her 50 years of outstanding service to Catholic education.

Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice is a decoration of the Holy See. It is currently conferred for distinguished service to the Catholic Church by lay people and clergy.

The college was able to present Mrs. Radford with a token of deep appreciation from our College community.
