SECTION 1: STUDENT AND PARENT / CARER RESOURCES

All students have been sent the link to the virtual careers fair and it is also available on the year group teams pages.

There are hundreds of different careers and career paths to choose from, the following link will give you an insight into your chosen career.

Each student has received the interactive workbook to use with lots of information and interactive tasks to complete throughout the week on different careers and career paths.

The Parents’ Guide To helps parents and carers with clear, unbiased advice on post-school options, study and exam revision, and wellbeing.

Green Careers Week is an exciting event that raises aspirations, supports diversity, challenges stereotypes, and promotes real opportunities for young people to have a career that will genuinely make a difference.

Explore over 350 careers in science, medicine, and healthcare on the NHS Careers page. Whether you’re interested in patient care, medical research, or support roles, there’s a path for everyone.
Be More is a regional platform dedicated to connecting individuals with employment, apprenticeship, and training opportunities across the Liverpool City Region.
BBC Bitesize Careers is a free online resource by the BBC that helps students explore different career paths, understand their skills, and get advice on CV writing and job applications.
On our final day of national careers week, takes us to universities. Whether you’re in Year 7 or 12 it’s important you research universities and she how they compare against each.
The Russell Group is an association of 24 prestigious research-intensive universities in the UK, known for their world-class research, high academic standards, and strong industry connections.

SECTION 3: SIXTH FORM WORK EXPERIENCE

In 2024, our Sixth Formers enjoyed our wide and varied Work Experience programme, gaining great insight into the world of work. This form of work experience, typically involves completing given tasks whilst working alongside seasoned professionals.
