Spelling Bee Competition 2025

“Un idioma distinto es una visión diferente de la vida”

Three year 7 students earned a place at the Spanish Spelling Bee Regional Finals at The University of Liverpool on Friday 2nd May. The students represented the college at the annual Spelling Bee Contest. Students did extremely well and made the college and themselves proud.

During the competition students had to translate vocabulary from English into Spanish and then spell the word using the Spanish alphabet – a very challenging task!

During the day the University offered activities in many other languages to promote a love of languages and to expose pupils to other languages.
