Summer Band Camp Report 2025

““Band means together””

The College music department once again held a very successful summer band camp.

The camp was characterized by a fun, musically, and a well organised timetable that fostered learning, skill development, and strong bonds between band members.

Key elements contributing to the success of this year’s band camp included a focus on concentrated rehearsal time, engaging music-making, and opportunities for socialization, through team-building games and shared experiences away from regular school settings.

A positive camp experience enabled our young musicians to grow musically, personally and socially.

Congratulations to the amazing students who worked so hard and to the amazing tutors who drew out the very best from these young music students.

The college Director of Bands, Chris Tratt said, “Our students worked together, played together and learnt together. A wonderful team effort from all.”
