The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment Band Visit the College

“Children must receive music instruction as naturally as food, with as much pleasure as they derive from a ball game, and this must happen from the beginning of their lives”. Leonard Bernstein On Saturday 4th October the college welcomed musicians from the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment Band. The intensive day was filled with performances, workshops and masterclasses. Band Director of the college Mr. Chris Tratt said, “this amazing group of musicians were truly an inspiration to our young musicians, they bought out the very best in our young people.”
