What exactly do they learn?

The qualification is made up of 2 units, that all students will need to complete.

  • Unit 1: Health, well-being and development throughout the lifespan.
  • Unit 2: Outcome-focused and person-centred practice in health and social care.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a mixture of exams and assignments.

In Unit 1 you will undertake a written exam which will be worth 40% of your qualification.

In Unit 2 you will undertake two assignments, a case study with several tasks and then a scenario with several tasks. This is controlled assessment, worth 60% of your qualification and will take 16 hours.
