Archbishop Beck Catholic College Celebrates Outstanding A-Level and Vocational Results
Archbishop Beck Catholic College is proud to celebrate another year of exceptional achievement in both A-Level and vocational qualifications, with students once again demonstrating their commitment, resilience, and ambition.
A-Level Success
The 2025 results highlight significant improvements at the very highest grades:
- A*-A grades have risen from 12% in 2024 to 20% in 2025, reflecting the dedication of our students and the high-quality teaching they receive.
- A*-B grades remain consistently strong at 47%, close to last year’s 48%.
- A*-C grades have been sustained at an impressive 86%, matching last year’s results.
- A*-E grades 100% for the second year running.
Vocational Excellence
Our vocational courses continue to deliver outstanding outcomes, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in their chosen careers:
- Distinction*–Distinction (D*-D) grades increased from 43% in 2024 to 49% in 2025.
- Distinction*–Merit (D*-M) grades rose from 93% to 97%.
- Distinction*–Pass (D*-P) grades remain at an exceptional 100% for the second consecutive year.
Record University engagement – over 100 students being able to access university courses and others undertaking prestigious graduate apprentices and other employment opportunities.

Headteacher, Mr Paul Stirling said:

The increase in top A-Level grades and the consistently excellent vocational results are a testament to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our parents and carers.
