ADMISSIONS
If you’re an Archbishop Beck Catholic College Year 11 student, you’ll be given priority. However, you are still required to apply for a place via an expression of interest and a formal Application. You will only be admitted in September 2026 providing the necessary entry requirements are met.
External Students
Applications from students currently attending other schools or colleges are welcome. Applicants must first complete the Application to provide the college with basic information about your application.
You and your parents will then be invited to have a tour of the college and be interviewed by a member of the Sixth Form team to discuss appropriate pathways.
Over Subscription Criteria
We have an all-inclusive Sixth Form policy. This means we will try to welcome all students and provide an appropriate individual study programme. This is subject to minimum subject entry requirements.
Where subjects are deemed at full capacity, an alternative pathway may be suggested.
In-Year Admissions
Students are generally admitted to our Sixth Form at the start of the autumn term. However, there may be a small number of occasions when students are able to transfer or join us mid-year.
Appeals
Any student refused the offer of a place in the Sixth Form has the right of appeal to an appeals panel. Please contact the college office for further information.
False Information
Where the college has made the offer of a place in the Sixth Form on the basis of a fraudulent or intentionally misleading application, which has effectively denied a place to a student with a stronger claim, the offer of a place will be withdrawn.
