Dancing on Top of the World

Do it big; do it right; and do it with style.” Fred Astaire Congratulations to Evie Armstrong (Year 11) who took part in the recent “Dance World Cup Championships. The weeklong event originally scheduled for Barcelona, Spain was moved to Telford (UK) due to the pandemic. Evie won 9 Gold and 1 Bronze medal, as well as a Gold in the Trio event. Evie said “I enjoyed every moment of the contest and especially having my hard work, commitment and dedication recognised”. Evie is part of the local NDDD Dance School, based in Old Swan. Evie is now focusing in on her GCSE subjects and getting ready for her examinations. Well done Evie, keep dancing like no one is watching!  As you certainly did it big and with great style.
