Making the Numbers Add Up

We have had some brilliant results from the Year 7-8 Maths Challenge this year: 15 bronze and 7 silver certificates. To get a bronze certificate, you have to be in the top 50% of scores, and you have to be in the top 25% of scores for a silver. Considering that the Maths Challenge is offered to the best students around the country, this is a great achievement. The Y7-8s also did much better than our Y9-11s, with a much higher proportion of students achieving at least a bronze.
