Examination Dates

Summary exam timetables for Summer 2026.

Key Dates

  • Last date for exams is 24th June. The is the JCQ contingency day, all students must be available on this date in case of national emergency leading to a rescheduled exam.
  • A-Level Results: 13th August 9:00. Details to follow. All results are emailed.
  • GCSE Results: 20th August 9:00. Details to follow. All results are emailed.
  • All students who sit exams are required to follow the JCQ regulations.
  • Every student in the country is required to follow these regulations – penalties for not following the regulations can be severe.
  • An awareness of the regulations and expectations can help calm nerves.

Some key points

  • Students should be present 15 minutes before the exam – 8:45 for the 9:00 exams, 1:15 for the 1:30 exams
  • Contact the college if you are going to be late. Don’t panic, we will support as much as possible.
  • Don’t be involved in any dishonest behaviour.
  • Empty pockets – students can’t have within reach anything that is not permitted for the exam.
  • Phones are off and must not be with reach. Watches of any kind removed.
  • See-through water bottles and pencil cases.
  • Follow all instructions from exam supervisors

The college conducts the mock exams following these regulations, so all students will be aware of the requirements.
