Chamber Choir Singing to Success!
The college Chamber Choir had an amazing experience at this year’s annual Catholic School’s Choir Competition hosted at Cardinal Heenan school.
The choir were placed second in the competition after brilliant performances were given by nine choirs from across Merseyside on Wednesday evening. The Chamber Choir sang the classical standard ‘Panis Angelicus’ followed by ‘You Will Be Found’ from current hit musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen.’
The choir judge, Dr McElroy from Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral, was particularly impressed with the choir’s performance from memory in Latin & the expressiveness with which the choir sang. He also gave a big shout out to all our boy choristers!
