Civic Duty, Civic Pride and Civic Mass

On Sunday 19th February 2023 the college was welcomed to the Metropolitan Cathedral to be part of guests from across Merseyside attending the Annual Civic Mass.

There were many representatives from civic and public life from across the region who came together to pray for our local communities and their needs and for all those in positions of authority in public life.

In his homily, Archbishop Malcolm said, “as a rule of thumb we must always give out Christian love and we are judged in the way we show it to all in our great city, seeing people as an expression of God”.

Guests in attendance included, The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, The Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, The Mayor of Liverpool, The High Sheriff, the Honorary Recorder of Liverpool and members of the Judiciary and Consular Corps.

The college community was represented by Headteacher, Paul Stirling, Head boy, Adam, and Mr and Mrs Hicks.
