Physics Educational Conference

Roshni, Connor, Georgia and Lauren are the four outstanding Year 13 Physics students from Archbishop Beck Catholic College who will travel to Geneva, Switzerland. They will experience cutting edge research into sub-atomic particle research.

Ms Joanne Woods, Physics teacher at the College said,” This is a world class event and our students have been selected because of their outstanding academic achievement and dedication to their subject.”

Roshni, Head Girl at the College said, “ I feel very honoured and privileged to have been selected to attend this outstanding event.”

Ms Woods also paid tribute to the OGDEN Trust for their generous support in funding this venture, “This is truly a trip of a lifetime for our young students to develop their Physics skills and knowledge; they will also have the opportunity to explore the cultural side of Geneva.”
