Liverpool Women’s Hospital Trip

Archbishop Beck has partnered with the Liverpool Women’s Hospital to provide our students with a unique insight into careers in the NHS. This exclusive opportunity provided an insight into the various career opportunities in the industry including medicine, healthcare, nursing, social care and the many other support functions needed to run the service. These include areas such as business, finance and estates.

The event consisted of a number of presentations and practical demonstrations from key staff at the hospital. The event has been running for the benefit of Archbishop Beck students for a number of years. It is a highlight of our employability programme.

This fantastic opportunity was an important part of the employability and careers guidance students receive as part of their individual study programme.

The event was equally enjoyed by the students and the staff from Archbishop Beck and the Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
