Another outstanding education experience

Today, our Year 11 cohort had an invaluable experience in the lead up to their English Literature GCSE exam. The English Department arranged for a performance and workshop of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, Macbeth, to help enhance understanding of the play. The play was designed and delivered, by Box Clever Theatre, specifically aimed for a teenage audience. The performance was a fast-paced, energetic adaptation, which enhanced their knowledge of the plot, characters and key scenes from the play.

Headteacher, Paul Stirling said, “our recent programme of outstanding drama presentations has allowed our students the opportunity to be part of something really special, exciting and engaging. Bringing to life their academic studies”.
