Viva La Musica

The music room was buzzing with focused energy as wind and brass students trickled in for the half termly training morning. Mr. Tratt, the college’s Band Director, looked out at his team – a mix of seasoned performers and newcomers, all here voluntarily.

“Before we get started, huge congratulations to Joseph on smashing his Grade 1 Tuba examination!
Joseph beamed as Mr. Tratt presented him with his ABRSM certificate. The group erupted in applause and cheers.

Mr. Tratt praised the students for “their commitment, motivation and determination shown during the extensive rehearsal”.

As the group packed up, one trumpet player turned to Mr. Tratt and whispered, “Thanks, Mr Tratt, I think we got it.”
