World Earth Day Event

A number of our Year 7 students participated in an amazing World Earth Day event at Anfield, to raise awareness around sustainability and protecting our planet in The Red Way

The students participated in numerous activities learning about how global warming is effecting the world and what we can do as individuals/community to help support and make a difference!

Congratulations to Hollie from Year 7 who recently attended a World Earth Day event with LFC Foundation.

Liverpool and Hungary international left-back, Milos Kirkez was also present to add extra prestige to the event.

Participants took part in supporting the LFC Allotment programme, learning about how the allotment plays a key part in biodiversity initiatives within LFC, The Red Way.

Hollie had a hands-on experience, gathering honey, fruit and veg and looking at how the allotment also supports local community groups.

Headteacher Paul Stirling, said, “Once again, the college demonstrates a commitment to providing our students with every opportunity outside the classroom. Well done Hollie for being an excellent ambassador for our community.”
