Your Voice Does Matter

The college community recently welcomed members of Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership for filming an important message to the young people of Merseyside.

The team used the iconic college campus to film and record aspects of poetry relating to the MVRP initiatives.

Part of the day was the filming of a poem by Merseyside’s own word poet Joseph Roberts. Joseph is a former student of the college.

What is the MVRP?

We are committed to creating violence-free communities in Merseyside, ensuring better life choices for young people and their families.

The Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (MVRP) is a team of subject leads and experts working together, with our communities, to address the underlying causes of violence and prevent it.

Adopting a public health approach, we are focused on intervening in a positive way to help young people and families from before birth to young adulthood.
