Nugent Care Mass

Wednesday 24 June 2026

Students from Archbishop Beck Catholic College had the privilege of meeting the Archbishop of Liverpool at the recent Nugent Care Mass. They represented our school with confidence, compassion, and a true spirit of service.

It was a delight to have our students in the company of Archbishop John Sherrington’s company again this week as we celebrate our contribution to the Good Shepherd Appeal in the Metropolitan Cathedral. The Archbishop pointed out how wonderful it is ‘to see our college so active in our Catholic life’ as we also attended the Faith in Action awards this week.

The work of Nugent Care founded in 1881, offers such a range of diverse support for adults and children. We are honoured to add to this invaluable work.

Headteacher, Paul Stirling said “The Mass was a powerful reminder of our Catholic mission to serve others. Our students embraced that call, speaking with the Archbishop and showing what it means to live faith beyond the classroom. True Christian Ambassadors”.
