Powerful Voices, Proud Results. Two students. Two powerful speeches. Two powerful voices. One Archbishop Beck.

Tuesday 30 June 2026

On Tuesday 30th June, Archbishop Beck Catholic College marched with its voices raised and its pride even higher. In the Liverpool Archdioceses Public Speaking Contest, our students didn’t just speak — they moved a room. *Congratulations to Zachary, 1st place* With powerful words and absolute conviction, Zachary commanded the stage from his first line to his last. His speech was clear, courageous, and very powerful . Judges praised “his presence, his purpose, and the power he gave to every sentence”. *Congratulations to Ava, 2nd place* Ava brought her own brand of power, empathy, honesty, and a voice that filled the hall. Her delivery was poised, her message landed, and she reminded everyone why speaking up matters. Headteacher Paul Stirling said: “I’m immensely proud of Zachary and Ava. They represented Archbishop Beck with dignity, confidence, and determination . They showed that when you give young people the chance to be heard, they can change how people listen. We are proud of you both”.
