An Amazing Team – Achieving Amazing Results

Coached by Mr Gillon and Mr Herriman, our Year 9 basketball team took part in the Merseyside Basketball competition organised by LSSP, at Archbishop Beck on Tuesday 10th October. 

Even with a few of our stronger players missing due to a school football fixture, the team came away victorious, not losing a single game. 

In all, seven schools participated from across Merseyside in a short game format, consisting of 8 minutes per match. 

The team will now look forward to the England National Schools competition next week, where they will play at Helsby.
