A Powerful, Prevailing and Persuasive Team Effort

English Speaking Union – Churchill Public Speaking Contest success.

Congratulations to our Senior Public Speaking team members who on Thursday 8th February won the right to represent the Northwest at the impending regional finals.

The judge for the evening Jo Evans said “the team from Archbishop Beck were a true team and this was the overriding reason for their success.”

Mr Hicks commented, “firstly it was a wonderful evening hosted by the college which saw schools from Wales, Wirral and Merseyside taking part. A supreme effort by all the young people who took.”

“Continuous effort, not strength or intelligence is the key to unlocking our potential.” Winston Churchill
