Business Competition Supports Project Ghana
This completion was a perfect opportunity for both teaching staff as well as students to translate theoretical classroom experience to the market place. The processes required by competing schools begins with a design, production and marketing of the products. One of such products the college developed for Merseyrail was “M to Go”, which are shops setup to market phone shields. Other aspects of the project was the production of video and a radio jingle for marketing.
Archie’s Mob was one of the only 5 projects to make it to the finals in the competition. Although the college did not win the competition, the team went on to win “Spirit of Enterprise” Award from Educate Awards 2013. The amount realised from the competition came to 400.00.
At the end, Mr Nelson on behalf of the Project Ghana committee thanked Mrs Birchall and the entire project team who entered the completion for their magnanimous venture by supporting Project Ghana.
