Nursing Home Benefits from Students’ Generosity

“Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.” Mother Teresa

A local nursing home, Stonedale Lodge, Clifton House has benefited from the heart felt generosity, talents and kindness of year 9 student, Lydia.

After hearing a presentation from Mrs Higgs from the Art Department, asking for assistance, to provide paintings for the residents with Dementia in a local nursing home. Lydia readily volunteered.

For the majority of residents, they seemed to have had fond memories of Blackpool, so this became the chosen theme.

Staff and residents were greatly impressed with the work when it was presented by Mrs Higgs to the residents.

Well done Lydia and Mrs Higgs.
