A Fond Farewell to Mr Kevin McCormick
Friday 19 December 2025
After 39 years of wonderful teaching at the College today sees the end of an era. Mr Kevin McCormick finally will leave our community for a well-earned retirement.
Headteacher Paul Stirling said, “an inspirational teacher, a true professional and a valued member of our college community. Deeply respected by staff and students he will be sadly missed. Your dedication to teaching and mentoring students has been an inspiration to us all. You have left an indelible mark on our college and in the hearts of your students. We wish you a joyful and fulfilling retirement”.
Gracious God,
We thank You for the gift of this remarkable teacher,
whose wisdom has shaped minds,
whose patience has nurtured hearts,
and whose example has inspired countless lives.
As they step into this new chapter,
may each day be filled with peace, joy, and purpose.
Bless them with good health,
with time to rest and to dream,
and with opportunities to share their light in new ways.
May the seeds they have sown in the classroom
continue to grow and bear fruit for generations to come.
Surround them with love, laughter, and cherished memories,
and guide their path with Your gentle hand.
Amen.
