On Friday 9th January, our Year 11 cohort had an invaluable experience in the lead up to their English Literature GCSE exams.
The English Department arranged for a performance and workshop of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, A Christmas Carol, to help enhance understanding of the play. The play was designed and delivered, by Box Clever Theatre, specifically aimed for a teenage audience.
The performance was a fast-paced, energetic adaptation, which enhanced their knowledge of the plot, characters and key scenes from the play. It was a fantastic performance, which included some guest appearances from students and members of staff!
