Christmas Concert a Great Success
Tuesday 20th December 2016 saw over 250 students entertain an appreciative audience at the College’s “Countdown to Christmas Concert”. Students from all areas of the Performing Arts, sang, danced, played and provided dramatic interludes in a varied programme which provided the audience with a wonderful start to the Christmas Holidays. Special guests were the wonderful choir from Longmoor Primary School.
A little surprise, was given to the Headteacher, Paul Dickinson when he was presented with a surprise birthday gift as the audience joined in a spontaneous rendition of Happy Birthday, Mr Dickinson!
Speaking after the event Head of Performing Arts, Sue Forster said, “the growth and achievement of our students this year has been amazing, where high achieving ensembles, in all areas provide our students with a truly remarkable platform for the Performing Arts here at the College”.
