Annual Civic Mass held at Cathedral

Archbishop Malcolm McMahon celebrated the Annual Civic Mass at 11.00 am on Sunday 3rd March in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. The Mass is one of the major services of the year, paying tribute to the thousands of men and women who contribute to public service across Merseyside and celebrating the diversity of faith within our community. Guests in attendance included the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, the High Sheriff of Merseyside, the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Mayors from across the region, members of the judiciary, Consular Corps, MP’s and councillors along with many others representing the city and region. Catholic schools and societies were also represented and welcomed at the mass. The college was represented by Head Girl, Emma and Head Boy, Lewis, accompanied by Mr Hicks, Lewis and Emma also presented the offertory gifts to the Archbishop.
