Snow Centre Trip

Tuesday 2 February 2026

Life is like skiing. Just like skiing, the goal is not to get to the bottom of the hill. It’s to have a bunch of good runs before the sun sets.” Seth Godin

In January, fifty Archbishop Beck students going on the 2026 ski trip to Italy, visited the Snow Centre in Manchester for a beginner lesson.

Students and staff quickly, speedily and successfully met the challenge of putting on their ski gear and headed out onto the real snow slopes for a lesson with professional ski instructors.

This experience will enable them to take full advantage when they arrive at Monte Bondone in Italy at the end of March.

Headteacher Paul Stirling said, “as an avid skier I know our students will certainly have a fantastic time, hitting the big slopes, no doubt trying some snowboard tricks but above all else having an experience of a lifetime. Enjoy.”

All students had fun, learnt new skills and are certainly gearing up for a very exciting time when they travel in March to the Italian slopes.
