Luca was one of four players chosen to receive a month-long sports scholarship to a prestigious Basketball Academy based North Carolina. Luca is a member of the Basketball Wales U’17s national team. This organisation has a commercial partnership with the prestigious “Combine Academy” based in Charlotte, North Carolina. USA

This amazing opportunity will see him receive training from highly skilled coaches, participate in games and tournaments and have access to a fantastic strength and conditioning programme.

Highlights of this trip is that the players will also be able to visit several prestigious Basketball Universities. This week Luca visited the University of North Carolina (Tarheels). Alumni including the famous Michael Jordan.

This 4-week basketball exposure camp will be fantastic for young Luca’s development, especially as it his dream to attend University in America on a Basketball Scholarship in the future.
