Alumni of Note

The college was recently represented at the final degree recital of former student Helen. Helen’s recital was the final part of her 3 year degree programme at the Leeds College of Music.

Leeds College of Music is one of the UK’s leading conservatories and the calibre of music on offer is amazing. We were delighted to have supported Helen at this stage of her career.

Speaking after the event, Emeritus Director of Music Bruce Hicks, said “it was wonderful to see Helen’s outstanding performances and enjoy the remarkable atmosphere of the recitals.”

Helen commenced her musical journey at Blessed Sacrament Primary School and continued to develop her skill, passion and enjoyment in the College music programme; truly reflecting the concept that from small acorns mighty oak trees grow!
