West End Workshop with alumni Kelly Sweeney

Thursday 28th November saw members of our Chamber Choir assemble for a musical theatre workshop with College alumni Kelly Sweeney. Kelly studied in Archbishop Beck in 2007-2013 and was a committee member of the College Chamber Choir as well as the College Concert Band. She studied singing with Mrs Newton and gained her LCM Diploma in Musical Theatre before leaving the College.

Kelly has just made her West End debut in smash hit show ‘Heathers’ & we were lucky enough to have her in the College to run an action-packed workshop which saw students utilise their skills in acting, singing and dancing.

The students were treated to a wonderful performance by Kelly and ended the day with a great Q & A about the musical theatre industry.
