When did you leave Archbishop Beck Catholic College?

I left the College in 2017.

What does your occupation entail?

I worked as a Microbiologist in a food and water testing laboratory for a year in which I tested samples for a multitude of food and waterborne diseases. I was fortunate enough to be offered a place at Archbishop Beck starting in September and have taken up a role in the science department.

What do you value most in people?

Hard work and pride in their work.

What has been a highlight of your career to date?

Working in the healthcare industry during the pandemic.

What do you like most about your job?

I really enjoy the dynamic of working in the college and having the chance to pay back all the opportunities that were afforded to me when I was a student! I aim to be as inspiring and encouraging as the members of staff were to me!

What are your memories of your time at Archbishop Beck?

A lot of my memories of Archbishop Beck are centred around the Concert band and the brilliant experiences I had whilst I was a part of the group! My standout memory would be the college’s Last ‘Last night of the Proms’ in its entirety!

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Don’t stress about the little things in life.

Friday the 13th series.
