Former Students make Boxing History!

Many congratulations to our former students, ‘The Smiths’, who have made history in the boxing world. All four brothers Paul, Stephen, Liam and now Callum have been British Champions. This is an accomplishment unlikely to ever be repeated. Callum was the last of the brothers to win the British Championship by beating Michael ‘Rocky’ Fielding on Saturday night, 7th November, at a sell-out Liverpool Echo Arena. Callum’s victory came in an enthralling first round knockout.

Congratulations to all the Smith Brothers who attended Archbishop Beck Catholic College between 1994 and 2006. Their younger sister Chloe also attended the College and left a few years ago.

Best wishes to all the Smiths and we wish them well as they attempt to match Liam’s World Title which he won, last month, October, 2015.
