An Outstanding Family Affair!

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” George Bernard Shaw

The College community was delighted to learn of the recent outstanding academic success from alumni, in this case, Lee, Katy and Sophie Hartles.

Katy graduated with a degree in Physics and is starting Liverpool Hope University tomorrow, to do her PGCE hopefully to become a Physics Teacher.

Sophie graduated with a degree in History and will be starting at the University of Manchester, next week, to do a Masters in Public History.

Not forgetting Lee, who graduated 2 years ago with a degree in P.E. He is working in Fazakerley Hospital in the Maintenance Department, carrying out water tests for Legionella.

Paul Dickinson, Headteacher of the college said, “It is always our vision, aim and expectation that we set out for students that they aim high. Lee, Katy and Sophie were outstanding members of our Sixth Form and the College is very proud of their outstanding success. Congratulations to all the family. I know Lee, Katy and Sophie’s parents are very proud of their achievements, as I and all the Archbishop Beck community are.”
