Cream Classical

Liverpool’s waterfront – the perfect setting for the perfect concert! Earlier this month, thousands of people enjoyed the mini festival in front of the city’s iconic Three Graces. Over four nights, people enjoyed a string of performances from acts including disco legends Nile Rodgers and CHIC, local DJs Camelphat, DJ Roger Sanchez and Faithless. Former alumni of the college, Madelaine Kinsella, Thomas Patterson and our most recent Head Boy, Joseph Roberts, were performing as part of the thirty piece choir that accompanied the fifty piece orchestra, deejays & lead vocalists. Director of Vocal Studies at the College Annamarie Newtown was responsible for putting together this fantastic vocal “tour de force”. Commenting after the event Mrs Newton said, “Liverpool’s waterfront was a perfect setting for an unforgettable weekend of fun, music and total enjoyment for everyone. Well done to everyone”. As the moon appeared with the Cream logo projected onto the Liver Buildings & the QE2 sailed past, it was iconic, emotional and truly inspirational moment for all on stage. A background to Cream Cream began in 1992 as a small underground club night at Nation and the brand has grown to become a global powerhouse in electronic music.

Cream events have taken place across the world, from Ibiza and America, to Asia and beyond.
