Liverpool Rock & Roll Marathon

“I don’t run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days.” Ronald Rook Mr Postlethwaite would like to thank the members of the college community who sponsored him recently when he competed in the Liverpool Rock and Roll Marathon held on Sunday 24th October. Mr Postlethwaite was running to raise funds for CAFOD, a charity which we as a college community have supported for many years. The final total raised was £600 which will go towards CAFOD’s education program which aims to improve literacy levels in areas of the world where children receive little or no education at all. What does CAFOD do? We are an international development charity and the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. We reach out to people living in poverty with practical help, whatever their religion or culture. Through our global Church network, one of the largest in the world, we have the potential to reach everyone. And we campaign for global justice, so that every woman, man and child can live a full and dignified life.
