A Day of Music Making

“Music enhances the education of our children by helping them to make connections and broadening the depth with which they think and feel. If we are to hope for a society of culturally literate people, music must be a vital part of our children’s education.” Yo-Yo Ma Well done to the college musicians who gathered on Saturday 12th February for a day of intensive music making. A great deal of work was done by the students’, ably assisted by a group of music tutors. Chris Tratt, College Band Director, said “after so much disruption to our instrumental programme over the last two years, these intensive training days are so important to catch-up the lost music making”.
