Music Educator Visits Beck (Day)

Archbishop Beck Catholic College was extremely proud and excited to be visited by Dr Randy Navarre on Monday 26th March 2012.

“It was a great event and a great opportunity for students and teachers to talk to and meet Dr Navarre and share their ideas” said Mr Hicks, Director of Music for Archbishop Beck.

Dr. Navarre has written a book called ‘The Instrumental Music Teacher’s Survival Kit’ and is a step-by-step guide to teaching all the instruments of the band. Musical exercises, trouble-shooting charts, and other valuable information for the music educator.

Several compositions of Dr. Navarre’s are published, and his music is performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
