Dancing their way to the TOP

“And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon.”
― Edward Lear, The Owl and the Pussycat

Congratulations to the college’s dance ensemble who have completed a marathon of events. From Cheltenham to Liverpool our Dance stars performed an amazing array of Dances, from “ Abba to Shine” and a special choreographed commission on Gender issues provided the performers with the stimulus to give outstanding and emotional performances in all genres of dance.

From competitions to college performances all ensembles performed with distinction, determination, and commitment.

The ensembles were successful in all outside competitions this term. Of note were winning performances for Key stage 3, 4 and 5 at the Liverpool Schools Sport Partnership competitions.

Mrs Forster, Head of Performing Arts said, “As the curtain comes down on this academic year, I wanted to pay tribute to the work of all our students who have worked so hard to achieve the highest possible standards in Dance, Music and Drama, Well done everyone.”
