“Speech is power: speech is to persuade, to convert, to compel.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Congratulations to Eugene from Year 13 who represented the college at the recent Catenian Public Speaking Competition where a large field of students from Catholic Schools across the region participated. It was a wonderful night of speeches on a wide variety of topics.

Headteacher: Paul Stirling said at the end of the event, “Well done Eugene on a compelling speech providing the audience with much to think about on their journey through Life. You were a wonderful ambassador for the college”.
