Exploring the Exciting and Varied World of Travel & Tourism

On Wednesday 26th April 2023, a group of Year 10 Travel and Tourism students were invited to take part in a series of workshops as part of the Euro Learn initiative, linked to job roles within the Visitor Economy sector. Students took part in a variety of different sessions, including first aid in an emergency situation and customer service in the hospitality industry. They heard from leading figures and CEOs in the hospitality sector, as well as flight attendants from the UKs leading airlines who gave inspirational talks about the realities of working within the travel and tourism industry. The students had a wonderful time… and even got to taste the mocktails they had created!
